Programme

Internships

A six-month health data science internship for recent graduates, built around mentoring and real projects.

Kenya needs more people trained in health data science. Most undergraduate courses do not prepare students for that work. Many graduates do not know these careers exist, and those who do often have no mentor to help them choose a path. The Health Data Science Mentorship and Incubation Program fills that gap with project-based learning. Applicants go through an open recruitment, and six students join for six months. The first six weeks are intensive training. After that, each intern works on small projects. Progress is reviewed every week in code sessions, and the internship ends with a final presentation.
