Clinicians and researchers workshop

From 12 to 16 August 2024, a one-week workshop was held in person at the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe), Duduville Campus, Kasarani, Nairobi. It strengthened the skills of researchers and clinicians. The modules covered good data management practice, writing and using a data management plan, standard operating procedures and guidelines, data science tools and best practice. Participants practised processing, analysing, classifying, storing, archiving, publishing, sharing and retrieving research data. They also learned the tools built by the Data Science for Health Discovery and Innovation Open Data Science Platform (DSI-ODSP), together with the ODSP team.
